City Clerk Overview

The City Clerk serves as custodian of official city records and public documents, and performs certification and recording for the city as required on legal and other documents.

 

Oversees

  • Administration and Issuance of  Municipal Licenses:
    • Occupation, Business, & Regulatory
  • Cemetery Deeds *
  • Collection of Monies:
    • City and Other Taxes
    • Water, Sewer & Garbage Bills
    • City Facility Rental Fees

Public Notice

Due to recent employee changes the City of Rockmart is compiling a comprehensive list of those families who desire to personally maintain the grass in their family burial lots in Rose Hill Cemetery.  The current Sexton is aware of many of these lots but may not be aware of all of them.  Please contact City Hall to be sure we have your request listed.  We appreciate your patience during this time of transition.
