Our Mission

The members of the Rockmart Police Department are committed to the protection of life and property of all citizens.

We will:

• Follow the guidelines of the Georgia and United States Constitution to achieve our mission.
• Work in partnership with all law-abiding members of our community to enhance the quality of life and solve any problems that may arise within our boundaries.

• Never permit personal feelings, prejudices, animosities, or friendships to interfere with our enforcement of the laws of the State of Georgia or ordinances of the City of Rockmart.
• Conduct ourselves in a professional manner, and not bring discredit to ourselves, the department, or the citizens of Rockmart.
• Recognize the badge of our office as a symbol of public trust and will hold ourselves to the highest standards of police conduct at all times.
