The goal of the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center is to further opportunities in the appreciation, participation, presentation and performance of the various arts, to promote understanding and education in the arts, and to provide service and support to the community.
The community often participates in projects sponsored by the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center such as the 125th Anniversary Mural .
Funding for the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center is provided in part by the City of Rockmart as the Art Department, as well as patrons, and corporate sponsors. Become a member today!
This facility houses the Art Gallery, Rockmart Community Chorus, Pottery Studio, various Art Classes, and office of the Art Director, Peggy Cline.
Summer is dedicated to our youth. Youth activities include Summer Youth/Teen Art Camps at the Cultural Arts Center and Rockmart Theatre. Each camp ends with a Youth Art Exhibit or Performance by the students. Camps are taught by professional educators in their field.
Rockmart Community Chorus performs several times during the year in addition to the two concerts presented at The Rockmart Theatre each year - one in the spring and the other for Christmas. Members are volunteers from within the community. They rehearse each Tuesday at 7 PM in the upper level of the Cultural Arts Center.

RCAC Art Gallery features exhibits that are rotated on a regular basis by the Visual Arts Committee to feature local artists and works from outside sources.

Theatre performances include Community and Children's Theatre productions along with Rockmart High School Thespians and their productions. Summer Theatre Camp and Outside shows are also held here.
