Applications are now open for the inaugural Rockmart Youth Leadership Council!
This new program gives students a behind-the-scenes look at how government works at the local level while building leadership skills and connecting with elected officials and city staff.
Who can apply?
Rising freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who live in Rockmart and attend a local school or homeschool program.
What to expect:
Participants will attend monthly meetings, engage in city events, and gain real-world experience in local government.
To apply, students must submit:
= Completed application and certifications
= Responses to application questions
= One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, librarian, or community leader
