About Marty Robinson
- How long have you lived in Rockmart? I have lived in Rockmart for 43 years.
- How long have you been on the council? The entirety of my 43 years has been in Ward 2
where I am in my first term on the City Council.
- What are your goals as councilmen/woman? My goals for Rockmart are to be a city where people can
work, play, and stay. To help bring good paying jobs to the City so that
residents can make a good living without having to spend time driving that
could be spent with family. I would also like to see the downtown area
developed more. We have a great base of businesses downtown from which to
build.
- What is your favorite thing about Rockmart? My favorite thing about Rockmart has always been the people. No matter how busy everyone gets, the people of Rockmart will always come together when there is a need.
- Your promise to the community is…? My promise is to always serve this community with integrity and the best interest of every citizen at heart.
